I'm Alvin C. Hill IV, affectionately known

as Jackpot or JP ONE, a native of Detroit, MI, who returned to the vibrant city after

a formative childhood in Benton Harbor,

MI. A recent graduate of Wayne State University's Mike Ilitch School of Business’s MBA program, my journey has been marked by numerous trials, each serving as a lesson that I treasure.

Music was my initial passion, but a series of unsuccessful record deals paved the way for me to establish my own imprint, Gifted & Talented, and manage my own career. Through this pursuit, I discovered my second passion: business. As my music endeavors flourished, I extended my guidance to others, recognizing the value of formal education. I embarked on an academic journey, obtaining an associate’s degree in in Business Administration, followed by a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Unsatisfied, I pursued an MBA immediately thereafter.

Education, however, is just one pillar of a solid business foundation. While it equips one to answer structured questions, entrepreneurship demands a distinct skill set. Drawing from my own experiences of founding a company, navigating losses, and turning adversity into opportunity, I resolved to leverage my education and insights to empower fellow minority entrepreneurs. Thus, Real Life Business Solutions was conceived.

Over the past three years, our firm has evolved into a comprehensive resource hub for entrepreneurs, offering a myriad of services including courses, coaching, system optimization, business credit and funding assistance, and most recently, tax preparation and education. Understanding that our success hinges on the success of our clients, I remain committed to equipping them with the requisite tools for prosperity.
